Those close to Amber say she has a vibrancy that is a contagious celebration of living in the moment and a difference you can feel immediately. As a brief background, she earned a degree in accounting from University of Houston and possess 7+ years of accounting experience. But after her accounting career, she started the path towards making her career dreams come true as a business development rep for Fidelity National Title and then as a real estate guru and business owner. As a single mom raising two wonderful children, Amber has a deep soul passion for inspiring and helping other single mothers in business and in everyday life.  

Stephanie McCord

Transaction Manager

Stephanie graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Management. After graduation she began a career with a prestigious law firm as a paralegal where she managed complex cases and dealt with the daily demands from attorneys and clients. Five years of paralegal experience has provided her with exceptional management and organizational skills. Her attention to detail makes her a great asset to the Open to Close team.

Gayla Allen

Short Sale Negotiator

Gayla comes to Open to Close with the best training available with her experience as the Operations Manager for and certification through the Distressed Property Institute (CDPE Designation - Certified Distressed Property Expert) which is sponsored by Keller Williams, REMAX, and many others.  This designation is recognized my many REALTOR® state boards and is moving towards an international program.  She infuses an entrepreneurial spirit into our daily operations and creates an environment focused on forming lasting relationships, supporting uncompromised customer service, and providing unsurpassed support to agents who are diligently helping homeowners through the Short Sale process.  Outside of work, she is a "foodie" and wine enthusiast.  Gayla and her husband are now empty nesters, enjoying their life together after raising six children. She also has three grandchildren and two ornery cats.

Julie Biel

Julie graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler in 1999 with a degree in BS Health Sciences.  Over the past few years she has completed various real estate courses and has always been very passionate about it. She has been employed in the healthcare industry for 10+ years where she has worked closely with patients and in the development of FDA approved pharmaceuticals.  She thoroughly enjoys working with people and considers herself very outgoing as well as detail/schedule oriented. We are constantly keeping up with what the market demands at Open to Close!
